Modern International School is located in Dwarka, one of the eminent locations in West Delhi. The school is established with a vision of providing quality education to students. It is an English medium, co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school is dedicated to provide world class educational facilities to the students and offers education from Nursery to Class XII.
Modern International School (Registered), promoted by eminent educationists now brings to Dwarka a truly International level of learning and world-class facilities for overall development of children. Strategically located on the Main Airport Road (Opposite Sec 10, Metro Station) in Sector 19, Phase-I Dwarka, the School has been sponsored by the Delhi Government and has been allocated two Acres of prime land for the Senior Secondary Wing.
The campus of Modern International School is well equipped with the modern infrastructural facilities such as spacious ventilated class rooms with the latest teaching aids, rich library, state-of-the-art computer lab, science labs and play ground. To ensure the complete development of the children, the school encourages the students to take part in various co-curricular activities held in school such as music, dance, arts and sports.
Aims and Objectives
The main aim is to provide quality education to our students by equipping them with skills, confidence, moral courage and a positive approach towards life.
Students will be provided with opportunities for self expression, innovation, initiative, a context for experimentation and experience blended with an understanding of traditional values, respect for teachers and elders to boldly face the world in all its vicissitudes and contingencies.
The building of the school is well designed and provides all the facilities to the students. The classrooms are big, spacious and airy which are also enabled with the facility of smart classes.
Library
The school maintains a full-fledged library along with a reading room. A big collection of reference books is also there in the library to cater the needs of the students. Magazines, journals and newspaper are also maintained in the school.
Science Laboratories
The school boosts well maintained and fully equipped science laboratories which cater to the needs of the students. These include Biology Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab and Mathematics Lab. They are places where students can carry out the experiments as per the curriculum that is followed in the school.
Computer Education
Keeping in view the needs of the future and the evident necessity of computer knowledge, the school lays stress on computer as a compulsory part of the curriculum. A fully equipped computer lab with hi tech systems is maintained by the school in the interest of the students.
Audio Visual Room
